Theme: “Wearing pink to reach the ONE”
1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. The pandemic caused thousands of women to delay their annual mammograms and the result has been more late-stage breast cancer diagnoses. African American women are diagnosed with breast cancer at an earlier age and with a more aggressive form of breast cancer. Early detection is the key to survival.
This Virtual Fun Walk is a volunteer opportunity for our Sisters to promote awareness, get exercise, and share each other’s company. So register, grab a friend or family member, sport your pink, and let’s get stepping. We encourage you to walk between the hours of 6:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. on October 23, 2021. Send us your videos and photos promoting health and breast cancer awareness.
Your donation of $10 or more could save a life (see donation form below). For every $1 donated, the Bridge Breast Network is able to receive 10 times that amount in medical care for our clients. Together we are building bridges of hopes and saving lives.
