Health Care Providers
Thanks to the generosity of medical facilities and
doctors just like you, The Bridge has been able to save
numerous lives. As awareness of The Bridge grows, so does the demand
for medical services.
The Bridge operates through donated professional
services from physicians and low-cost contracts with health care
facilities for diagnostic, laboratory, and radiation services.
Between June 1, 2004, and May 31, 2005, the North Texas medical
community donated over $2.6 million in services to Bridge clients.
Through our network of medical providers, The Bridge offers
its clients a complete treatment program for breast cancer.
As a health care provider, you can make a difference
by volunteering your services to treat these patients. When
you treat a Bridge client, rest assured that the remainder of the
treatment needed will be available through our network.
Once you are accepted, our case management team will
make the arrangements with the hospital for outpatient surgery
procedures, then order the lab work and imaging you require for
treating and monitoring the breast health of our client.
Physicians and medical service providers are
especially needed outside Dallas, Tarrant, Collin and Denton
counties. If you are willing to donate time or facilities to
help qualified clients, please contact
Terry Wilson-Gray,
executive director of The Bridge at 214-821-3820.
