Party Goers Enjoy A Night of Fun and Fundraising For a Cause
Over 200 party goers celebrated while raising funds at Million Air Dallas in Addison at The Bridge Breast Network’s 2014 Mardi Gras Party & Auction. The event was lively and festive as guests danced and sang karaoke to the music of the band Time Machine. “This was our first Mardi Gras event and it was a great success” commented Jill Tillery. The event raised over $107,000, in addition to the $22,000 donation from Tom Thumb Food and Pharmacy. Funds raised will be used to support our mission of saving lives in North Texas by providing breast cancer diagnostic and treatment services to individuals who are uninsured or underinsured. Help is still needed to serve the over 200 women awaiting services through our program. Your continued support makes a difference.
We are also looking for volunteers to help plan our 2015 event. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to sign up.

Think Rainbow Effect Every Day!
Research shows that carotenoids (ca-rot-e-noid) found in fruits and vegetables such as leafy greens, carrots and red peppers PLUS the phytonutrients (phy-to-nu-tri-ent) sulforaphane (think broccoli, cauliflower) and lycopene (the chemical that gives tomatoes their red color) can contribute to your “rainbow effect” of daily eating and proactively aid in improving health and lowering risk of all types of cancers. As summer approaches think about filling your plate with your favorite rainbow of these nutritious options daily-get your kids to help you be creative. Even better? Fruits and vegetables are naturally high in fiber and low in fat and calories - additional keys to maintaining weight and improving your overall health from the inside out.
